About us

Al Día RD is a digital news outlet for Dominicans in the Dominican Republic, in the United States and around the world. Every day we publish complete, clearly explained news from the DR, the Dominican community in the U.S., international news, celebrities, prices and fuel, and video games, in Spanish and English.

How we work

We tell every story in our own words: the essentials first, then the context, the key facts and why it matters. We look for the information first in official sources (governments, institutions, international organizations and companies) and complete it with well-known news outlets.

At the end of each story we show where the information comes from, with a link to the original source. The dollar exchange rate and fuel prices are published using official data and figures from each financial institution.

We check figures, names and dates before publishing. If you still find a mistake, write to us and we will fix it.

Our other projects

We also created DivisasRD.com (dollar rate, remittances and fuel prices in the DR) and KiloClaroRD.com (electricity bill calculator).
